Pioneers Stalwart to be Named to the Minor League Football Hall of Fame in 2023

“You won’t find a guy who will out work me.” This is a phrase many players from the St. Paul Pioneers have heard uttered from Head Coach Damien Rochon-Washington. As someone who has spent a signification amount of time around our beloved HC, I can tell you this much is true. Damien Rochon-Washington is the hardest working coach in developmental football, and his work ethic has not just been limited to his coaching career. It goes back to his playing days and even before.

Coach Rochon-Washington wore number One for the Pioneers for many seasons and helped the Pioneers win several league and national titles. Many Pioneers of the past will tell you that he lived his position and pushed his teammates to be the best they could be while leading by example. All of this has led to Damien being named to the 2023 Class of the American Football Association Minor League Football Hall of Fame.

The Pioneers organization is incredibly proud of our friend and Head Coach. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Damien and his family for this prestigious accolade.
